Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Avivame Hoy Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible,
Genesis 1:1, sets the foundational understanding of God as the Creator of all things: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." This verse encapsulates the profound truth that God is the originator and sustainer of the universe, establishing His sovereignty and authority over all creation.
The affirmation you provided from John 1:3 further reinforces this concept, emphasizing that all things were made through Him, further solidifying God's role as the primary agent of creation.
Recognizing God as the Creator not only highlights His immense power and creativity but also underscores the purposeful design inherent in the universe. It reminds us of our dependence on Him and invites us to marvel at the beauty and complexity of His creation.
Therefore he is worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The affirmation you provided from John 1:3 further reinforces this concept, emphasizing that all things were made through Him, further solidifying God's role as the primary agent of creation.

Revelation
God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, (Colossians 1:15)He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15 indeed highlights the Christian belief that Jesus Christ is the visible representation of God, the manifestation of the divine in human form. It emphasizes Jesus' unique role as the "firstborn of all creation," signifying his preeminence and authority over all things.
Mankind
Genesis 1:27 states, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Both men and women reflect God's image, and they were created to glorify Him. Adam and Eve, the first humans, were initially without sin and entrusted with stewardship over the rest of God's creations.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
(Ephesians 2:8) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(Matthew 28:19). Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
